38-1:2 The LORD3068 hath been sore displeased7107, 7110 with5921 your fathers.1
38-1:3 Therefore say559 thou unto413 them, Thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts;6635 Turn7725 ye unto413 me, saith5002 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 and I will turn7725 unto413 you, saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts.6635
38-1:4 Be1961 ye not408 as your fathers,1 unto413 whom834 the former7223 prophets5030 have cried,7121 saying,559 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts;6635 Turn7725 ye now4994 from your evil7451 ways,4480, 1870 and from your evil7451 doings:4611 but they did not3808 hear,8085 nor3808 hearken7181 unto413 me, saith5002 the LORD.3068
38-1:5 Your fathers,1 where346 are they?1992 and the prophets,5030 do they live2421 forever?5769
38-1:6 But389 my words1697 and my statutes,2706 which834 I commanded6680 (853) my servants5650 the prophets,5030 did they not3808 take hold5381 of your fathers?1 and they returned7725 and said,559 Like as834 the LORD3068 of hosts6635 thought2161 to do6213 unto us, according to our ways,1870 and according to our doings,4611 so3651 hath he dealt6213 with854 us.
38-1:7 Upon the four702 and twentieth6242 day3117 of the eleventh6249, 6240 month,2320 which1931 is the month2320 Sebat,7627 in the second8147 year8141 of Darius,1867 came1961 the word1697 of the LORD3068 unto413 Zechariah,2148 the son1121 of Berechiah,1296 the son1121 of Iddo5714 the prophet,5030 saying,559
38-1:8 I saw7200 by night,3915 and behold2009 a man376 riding7392 upon5921 a red122 horse,5483 and he1931 stood5975 among996 the myrtle trees1918 that834 were in the bottom;4699 and behind310 him were there red122 horses,5483 speckled,8320 and white.3836
38-1:9 Then said559 I, O my lord,113 what4100 are these?428 And the angel4397 that talked1696 with me said559 unto413 me, I589 will show7200 thee what4100 these428 be.
38-1:10 And the man376 that stood5975 among996 the myrtle trees1918 answered6030 and said,559 These428 are they whom834 the LORD3068 hath sent7971 to walk to and fro1980 through the earth.776
38-1:11 And they answered6030 (853) the angel4397 of the LORD3068 that stood5975 among996 the myrtle trees,1918 and said,559 We have walked to and fro1980 through the earth,776 and, behold,2009 all3605 the earth776 sitteth still,3427 and is at rest.8252
38-1:12 Then the angel4397 of the LORD3068 answered6030 and said,559 O LORD3068 of hosts,6635 how long5704, 4970 wilt thou859 not3808 have mercy on7355 (853) Jerusalem3389 and on the cities5892 of Judah,3063 against which834 thou hast had indignation2194 these2088 threescore and ten7657 years?8141
38-1:13 And the LORD3068 answered6030 (853) the angel4397 that talked1696 with me with good2896 words1697 and comfortable5150 words.1697
38-1:14 So the angel4397 that communed1696 with me said559 unto413 me, Cry7121 thou, saying,559 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts;6635 I am jealous7065 for Jerusalem3389 and for Zion6726 with a great1419 jealousy.7068
38-1:15 And I589 am very1419 sore displeased7107, 7110 with5921 the heathen1471 that are at ease:7600 for834 I589 was but a little4592 displeased,7107 and they1992 helped5826 forward the affliction.7451
38-1:16 Therefore3651 thus3541 saith559 the LORD;3068 I am returned7725 to Jerusalem3389 with mercies:7356 my house1004 shall be built1129 in it, saith5002 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 and a line6957 shall be stretched forth5186 upon5921 Jerusalem.3389
38-1:17 Cry7121 yet,5750 saying,559 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts;6635 My cities5892 through prosperity4480, 2896 shall yet5750 be spread abroad;6327 and the LORD3068 shall yet5750 comfort5162 (853) Zion,6726 and shall yet5750 choose977 Jerusalem.3389
38-1:18 Then lifted I up5375 (853) mine eyes,5869 and saw,7200 and behold2009 four702 horns.7161
38-1:19 And I said559 unto413 the angel4397 that talked1696 with me, What4100 be these?428 And he answered559, 413 me, These428 are the horns7161 which834 have scattered2219 (853) Judah,3063 (853) Israel,3478 and Jerusalem.3389
38-1:20 And the LORD3068 showed7200 me four702 carpenters.2796
38-1:21 Then said559 I, What4100 come935 these428 to do?6213 And he spoke,559 saying,559 These428 are the horns7161 which834 have scattered2219 (853) Judah,3063 so that no3808 man376 did lift up5375 his head:7218 but these428 are come935 to frighten2729 them, to cast out3034 (853) the horns7161 of the Gentiles,1471 which lifted up5375 their horn7161 over413 the land776 of Judah3063 to scatter2219 it.

38-2:1 I lifted up5375 mine eyes5869 again, and looked,7200 and behold2009 a man376 with a measuring4060 line2256 in his hand.3027
38-2:2 Then said559 I, Whither575 goest1980 thou?859 And he said559 unto413 me, To measure4058 (853) Jerusalem,3389 to see7200 what4100 is the breadth7341 thereof, and what4100 is the length753 thereof.
38-2:3 And, behold,2009 the angel4397 that talked1696 with me went forth,3318 and another312 angel4397 went out3318 to meet7125 him,
38-2:4 And said559 unto413 him, Run,7323 speak1696 to413 this1975 young man,5288 saying,559 Jerusalem3389 shall be inhabited3427 as towns without walls6519 for the multitude4480, 7230 of men120 and cattle929 therein:8432
38-2:5 For I,589 saith5002 the LORD,3068 will be1961 unto her a wall2346 of fire784 round about,5439 and will be1961 the glory3519 in the midst8432 of her.
38-2:6 Ho,1945 ho,1945 come forth, and flee5127 from the land4480, 776 of the north,6828 saith5002 the LORD:3068 for3588 I have spread you abroad6566, (853) as the four702 winds7307 of the heaven,8064 saith5002 the LORD.3068
38-2:7 Deliver thyself,4422 O1945 Zion,6726 that dwellest3427 with the daughter1323 of Babylon.894
38-2:8 For3588 thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts;6635 After310 the glory3519 hath he sent7971 me unto413 the nations1471 which spoiled7997 you: for3588 he that toucheth5060 you toucheth5060 the apple892 of his eye.5869
38-2:9 For,3588 behold,2009 I will shake5130 (853) mine hand3027 upon5921 them, and they shall be1961 a spoil7998 to their servants:5650 and ye shall know3045 that3588 the LORD3068 of hosts6635 hath sent7971 me.
38-2:10 Sing7442 and rejoice,8055 O daughter1323 of Zion:6726 for,3588 lo,2009 I come,935 and I will dwell7931 in the midst8432 of thee, saith5002 the LORD.3068
38-2:11 And many7227 nations1471 shall be joined3867 to413 the LORD3068 in that1931 day,3117 and shall be1961 my people:5971 and I will dwell7931 in the midst8432 of thee, and thou shalt know3045 that3588 the LORD3068 of hosts6635 hath sent7971 me unto413 thee.
38-2:12 And the LORD3068 shall inherit5157 (853) Judah3063 his portion2506 in5921 the holy6944 land,127 and shall choose977 Jerusalem3389 again.5750
38-2:13 Be silent,2013 O all3605 flesh,1320 before4480, 6440 the LORD:3068 for3588 he is raised up5782 out of his holy6944 habitation.4480, 4583

38-3:1 And he showed7200 me (853) Joshua3091 the high1419 priest3548 standing5975 before6440 the angel4397 of the LORD,3068 and Satan7854 standing5975 at5921 his right hand3225 to resist7853 him.
38-3:2 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Satan,7854 The LORD3068 rebuke1605 thee, O Satan;7854 even the LORD3068 that hath chosen977 Jerusalem3389 rebuke1605 thee: is not3808 this2088 a brand181 plucked5337 out of the fire?4480, 784
38-3:3 Now Joshua3091 was1961 clothed3847 with filthy6674 garments,899 and stood5975 before6440 the angel.4397
38-3:4 And he answered6030 and spoke559 unto413 those that stood5975 before6440 him, saying,559 Take away5493 the filthy6674 garments899 from4480, 5921 him. And unto413 him he said,559 Behold,7200 I have caused thine iniquity5771 to pass5674 from4480, 5921 thee, and I will clothe3847 thee with change of raiment.4254
38-3:5 And I said,559 Let them set7760 a fair2889 miter6797 upon5921 his head.7218 So they set7760 a fair2889 miter6797 upon5921 his head,7218 and clothed3847 him with garments.899 And the angel4397 of the LORD3068 stood by.5975
38-3:6 And the angel4397 of the LORD3068 protested5749 unto Joshua,3091 saying,559
38-3:7 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts;6635 If518 thou wilt walk1980 in my ways,1870 and if518 thou wilt keep8104 (853) my charge,4931 then thou859 shalt also1571 judge1777 (853) my house,1004 and shalt also1571 keep8104 my (853) courts,2691 and I will give5414 thee places to walk4108 among996 these428 that stand5975 by.
38-3:8 Hear8085 now,4994 O Joshua3091 the high1419 priest,3548 thou,859 and thy fellows7453 that sit3427 before6440 thee: for3588 they1992 are men376 wondered4159 at: for,3588 behold,2009 I will bring forth935 (853) my servant5650 the BRANCH.6780
38-3:9 For3588 behold2009 the stone68 that834 I have laid5414 before6440 Joshua;3091 upon5921 one259 stone68 shall be seven7651 eyes:5869 behold,2009 I will engrave6605 the graving6603 thereof, saith5002 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 and I will remove4185 (853) the iniquity5771 of that1931 land776 in one259 day.3117
38-3:10 In that1931 day,3117 saith5002 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 shall ye call7121 every man376 his neighbor7453 under413, 8478 the vine1612 and under413, 8478 the fig tree.8384

38-4:2 And said559 unto413 me, What4100 seest7200 thou?859 And I said,559 I have looked,7200 and behold2009 a candlestick4501 all3605 of gold,2091 with a bowl1543 upon5921 the top7218 of it, and his seven7651 lamps5216 thereon,5921 and seven7651 pipes4166 to the seven7651 lamps,5216 which834 are upon5921 the top7218 thereof:
38-4:3 And two8147 olive trees2132 by5921 it, one259 upon the right4480, 3225 side of the bowl,1543 and the other259 upon5921 the left8040 side thereof.
38-4:4 So I answered6030 and spoke559 to413 the angel4397 that talked1696 with me, saying,559 What4100 are these,428 my lord?113
38-4:5 Then the angel4397 that talked1696 with me answered6030 and said559 unto413 me, Knowest3045 thou not3808 what4100 these428 be? And I said,559 No,3808 my lord.113
38-4:6 Then he answered6030 and spoke559 unto413 me, saying,559 This2088 is the word1697 of the LORD3068 unto413 Zerubbabel,2216 saying,559 Not3808 by might,2428 nor3808 by power,3581 but3588, 518 by my spirit,7307 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts.6635
38-4:7 Who4310 art thou,859 O great1419 mountain?2022 before6440 Zerubbabel2216 thou shalt become a plain:4334 and he shall bring forth3318 (853) the headstone68, 7222 thereof with shoutings,8663 crying, Grace,2580 grace2580 unto it.
38-4:8 Moreover the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 unto413 me, saying,559
38-4:9 The hands3027 of Zerubbabel2216 have laid the foundation3245 of this2088 house;1004 his hands3027 shall also finish1214 it; and thou shalt know3045 that3588 the LORD3068 of hosts6635 hath sent7971 me unto413 you.
38-4:10 For3588 who4310 hath despised936 the day3117 of small things?6996 for they shall rejoice,8055 and shall see7200 (853) the plummet68, 913 in the hand3027 of Zerubbabel2216 with those428 seven;7651 they1992 are the eyes5869 of the LORD,3068 which run to and fro7751 through the whole3605 earth.776
38-4:11 Then answered6030 I, and said559 unto413 him, What4100 are these428 two8147 olive trees2132 upon5921 the right3225 side of the candlestick4501 and upon5921 the left8040 side thereof?
38-4:12 And I answered6030 again,8145 and said559 unto413 him, What4100 be these two8147 olive2132 branches7641 which834 through3027 the two8147 golden2091 pipes6804 empty7324 the golden2091 oil out of4480, 5921 themselves?
38-4:13 And he answered559, 413 me and said,559 Knowest3045 thou not3808 what4100 these428 be? And I said,559 No,3808 my lord.113
38-4:14 Then said559 he, These428 are the two8147 anointed ones,1121, 3323 that stand5975 by5921 the Lord113 of the whole3605 earth.776

38-5:1 Then I turned,7725 and lifted up5375 mine eyes,5869 and looked,7200 and behold2009 a flying5774 roll.4039
38-5:2 And he said559 unto413 me, What4100 seest7200 thou?859 And I answered,559 I589 see7200 a flying5774 roll;4039 the length753 thereof is twenty6242 cubits,520 and the breadth7341 thereof ten6235 cubits.520
38-5:3 Then said559 he unto413 me, This2063 is the curse423 that goeth forth3318 over5921 the face6440 of the whole3605 earth:776 for3588 every one3605 that stealeth1589 shall be cut off5352 as on this side4480, 2088 according to it;3644 and every3605 one that sweareth7650 shall be cut off5352 as on that side4480, 2088 according to it.3644
38-5:4 I will bring it forth,3318 saith5002 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 and it shall enter935 into413 the house1004 of the thief,1590 and into413 the house1004 of him that sweareth7650 falsely8267 by my name:8034 and it shall remain3885 in the midst8432 of his house,1004 and shall consume3615 it with the timber6086 thereof and the stones68 thereof.
38-5:5 Then the angel4397 that talked1696 with me went forth,3318 and said559 unto413 me, Lift up5375 now4994 thine eyes,5869 and see7200 what4100 is this2063 that goeth forth.3318
38-5:6 And I said,559 What4100 is it?1931 And he said,559 This2063 is an ephah374 that goeth forth.3318 He said559 moreover, This2063 is their resemblance5869 through all3605 the earth.776
38-5:7 And, behold,2009 there was lifted up5375 a talent3603 of lead:5777 and this2063 is a259 woman802 that sitteth3427 in the midst8432 of the ephah.374
38-5:8 And he said,559 This2063 is wickedness.7564 And he cast7993 it into413 the midst8432 of the ephah;374 and he cast7993 (853) the weight68 of lead5777 upon413 the mouth6310 thereof.
38-5:9 Then lifted I up5375 mine eyes,5869 and looked,7200 and, behold,2009 there came out3318 two8147 women,802 and the wind7307 was in their wings;3671 for they2007 had wings3671 like the wings3671 of a stork:2624 and they lifted up5375 (853) the ephah374 between996 the earth776 and the heaven.8064
38-5:10 Then said559 I to413 the angel4397 that talked1696 with me, Whither575 do these1992 bear1980 (853) the ephah?374
38-5:11 And he said559 unto413 me, To build1129 it a house1004 in the land776 of Shinar:8152 and it shall be established,3559 and set5117 there8033 upon5921 her own base.4369
