26-1:1 Now it came to pass1961 in the thirtieth7970 year,8141 in the fourth7243 month, in the fifth2568 day of the month,2320 as I589 was among8432 the captives1473 by5921 the river5104 of Chebar,3529 that the heavens8064 were opened,6605 and I saw7200 visions4759 of God.430
26-1:2 In the fifth2568 day of the month,2320 which1931 was the fifth2549 year8141 of king4428 Jehoiachin's3112 captivity,1546
26-1:3 The word1697 of the LORD3068 came expressly1961, 1961 unto413 Ezekiel3168 the priest,3548 the son1121 of Buzi,941 in the land776 of the Chaldeans3778 by5921 the river5104 Chebar;3529 and the hand3027 of the LORD3068 was1961 there8033 upon5921 him.
26-1:4 And I looked,7200 and, behold,2009 a whirlwind7307, 5591 came935 out of4480 the north,6828 a great1419 cloud,6051 and a fire784 enfolding itself,3947 and a brightness5051 was about5439 it, and out of the midst4480, 8432 thereof as the color5869 of amber,2830 out of the midst4480, 8432 of the fire.784
26-1:5 Also out of the midst4480, 8432 thereof came the likeness1823 of four702 living creatures.2416 And this2088 was their appearance;4758 they2007 had the likeness1823 of a man.120
26-1:6 And every one259 had four702 faces,6440 and every one259 had four702 wings.3671
26-1:7 And their feet7272 were straight3477 feet;7272 and the sole3709 of their feet7272 was like the sole3709 of a calf's5695 foot:7272 and they sparkled5340 like the color5869 of burnished7044 brass.5178
26-1:8 And they had the hands3027 of a man120 under4480, 8478 their wings3671 on5921 their four702 sides;7253 and they four702 had their faces6440 and their wings.3671
26-1:9 Their wings3671 were joined2266 one802 to413 another;269 they turned5437 not3808 when they went;1980 they went1980 every one376 straight5676 forward.6440
26-1:10 As for the likeness1823 of their faces,6440 they four702 had the face6440 of a man,120 and the face6440 of a lion,738 on413 the right side:3225 and they four702 had the face6440 of an ox7794 on the left side;4480, 8040 they four702 also had the face6440 of an eagle.5404
26-1:11 Thus were their faces:6440 and their wings3671 were stretched6504 upward;4480, 4605 two8147 wings of every one376 were joined2266 one to another,376 and two8147 covered3680 (853) their bodies.1472
26-1:12 And they went1980 every one376 straight5676 forward:6440 whither834, 8033 the spirit7307 was1961 to go,1980 they went;1980 and they turned5437 not3808 when they went.1980
26-1:13 As for the likeness1823 of the living creatures,2416 their appearance4758 was like burning1197 coals1513 of fire,784 and like the appearance4758 of lamps:3940 it1931 went up and down1980 among996 the living creatures;2416 and the fire784 was bright,5051 and out of4480 the fire784 went forth3318 lightning.1300
26-1:14 And the living creatures2416 ran7519 and returned7725 as the appearance4758 of a flash of lightning.965
26-1:15 Now as I beheld7200 the living creatures,2416 behold2009 one259 wheel212 upon the earth776 by681 the living creatures,2416 with his four702 faces.6440
26-1:16 The appearance4758 of the wheels212 and their work4639 was like unto the color5869 of a beryl:8658 and they four702 had one259 likeness:1823 and their appearance4758 and their work4639 was as834 it were1961 a wheel212 in the middle8432 of a wheel.212
26-1:17 When they went,1980 they went1980 upon5921 their four702 sides:7253 and they turned5437 not3808 when they went.1980
26-1:18 As for their rings,1354 they were so high1363 that they were dreadful;3374 and their rings1354 were full4392 of eyes5869 round about5439 them four.702
26-1:19 And when the living creatures2416 went,1980 the wheels212 went1980 by681 them: and when the living creatures2416 were lifted up5375 from4480, 5921 the earth,776 the wheels212 were lifted up.5375
26-1:20 Whithersoever5921, 834, 8033 the spirit7307 was1961 to go,1980 they went,1980 thither8033 was their spirit7307 to go;1980 and the wheels212 were lifted up5375 over against5980 them: for3588 the spirit7307 of the living creature2416 was in the wheels.212
26-1:21 When those went,1980 these went;1980 and when those stood,5975 these stood;5975 and when those were lifted up5375 from4480, 5921 the earth,776 the wheels212 were lifted up5375 over against5980 them: for3588 the spirit7307 of the living creature2416 was in the wheels.212
26-1:22 And the likeness1823 of the firmament7549 upon5921 the heads7218 of the living creature2416 was as the color5869 of the terrible3372 crystal,7140 stretched forth5186 over5921 their heads7218 above.4480, 4605
26-1:23 And under8478 the firmament7549 were their wings3671 straight,3477 the one802 toward413 the other:269 every one376 had two,8147 which covered3680 on this side,2007 and every one376 had two,8147 which covered3680 on that side,2007 (853) their bodies.1472
26-1:24 And when they went,1980 I heard8085 (853) the noise6963 of their wings,3671 like the noise6963 of great7227 waters,4325 as the voice6963 of the Almighty,7706 the voice6963 of speech,1999 as the noise6963 of a host:4264 when they stood,5975 they let down7503 their wings.3671
26-1:25 And there was1961 a voice6963 from4480, 5921 the firmament7549 that834 was over5921 their heads,7218 when they stood,5975 and had let down7503 their wings.3671
26-1:26 And above4480, 4605 the firmament7549 that834 was over5921 their heads7218 was the likeness1823 of a throne,3678 as the appearance4758 of a sapphire5601 stone:68 and upon5921 the likeness1823 of the throne3678 was the likeness1823 as the appearance4758 of a man120 above4480, 4605 upon5921 it.
26-1:27 And I saw7200 as the color5869 of amber,2830 as the appearance4758 of fire784 round about5439 within1004 it, from the appearance4480, 4758 of his loins4975 even upward,4605 and from the appearance4480, 4758 of his loins4975 even downward,4295 I saw7200 as it were the appearance4758 of fire,784 and it had brightness5051 round about.5439
26-1:28 As the appearance4758 of the bow7198 that834 is1961 in the cloud6051 in the day3117 of rain,1653 so3651 was the appearance4758 of the brightness5051 round about.5439 This1931 was the appearance4758 of the likeness1823 of the glory3519 of the LORD.3068 And when I saw7200 it, I fell5307 upon5921 my face,6440 and I heard8085 a voice6963 of one that spoke.1696

26-2:2 And the spirit7307 entered935 into me when834 he spoke1696 unto413 me, and set5975 me upon5921 my feet,7272 that I heard8085 (853) him that spoke1696 unto413 me.
26-2:3 And he said559 unto413 me, Son1121 of man,120 I589 send7971 thee(853) to413 the children1121 of Israel,3478 to413 a rebellious4775 nation1471 that834 hath rebelled4775 against me: they1992 and their fathers1 have transgressed6586 against me, even unto5704 this2088 very6106 day.3117
26-2:4 For they are impudent7186, 6440 children1121 and stiffhearted.2389, 3820 I589 do send7971 thee unto413 them; and thou shalt say559 unto413 them, Thus3541 saith559 the Lord136 GOD.3069
26-2:5 And they,1992 whether518 they will hear,8085 or whether518 they will forbear,2308 (for3588 they1992 are a rebellious4805 house,)1004 yet shall know3045 that3588 there hath been1961 a prophet5030 among8432 them.
26-2:6 And thou,859 son1121 of man,120 be not afraid3372, 408 of4480 them, neither408 be afraid3372 of their words,4480, 1697 though3588 briers5621 and thorns5544 be with854 thee, and thou859 dost dwell3427 among413 scorpions:6137 be not afraid3372, 408 of their words,4480, 1697 nor408 be dismayed2865 at their looks,4480, 6440 though3588 they1992 be a rebellious4805 house.1004
26-2:7 And thou shalt speak1696 (853) my words1697 unto413 them, whether518 they will hear,8085 or whether518 they will forbear:2308 for3588 they1992 are most rebellious.4805
26-2:8 But thou,859 son1121 of man,120 hear8085 (853) what834 I589 say1696 unto413 thee; Be1961 not408 thou rebellious4805 like that rebellious4805 house:1004 open6475 thy mouth,6310 and eat398 (853) that834 I589 give5414, 413 thee.
26-2:9 And when I looked,7200 behold,2009 a hand3027 was sent7971 unto413 me; and, lo,2009 a roll4039 of a book5612 was therein;
26-2:10 And he spread6566 it before6440 me; and it1931 was written3789 within6440 and without:268 and there was written3789 therein413 lamentations,7015 and mourning,1899 and woe.1958

26-3:3 And he said559 unto413 me, Son1121 of man,120 cause thy belly990 to eat,398 and fill4390 thy bowels4578 with854 this2063 roll4039 that834 I589 give5414, 413 thee. Then did I eat398 it; and it was1961 in my mouth6310 as honey1706 for sweetness.4966
26-3:4 And he said559 unto413 me, Son1121 of man,120 go,1980 get935 thee unto413 the house1004 of Israel,3478 and speak1696 with my words1697 unto413 them.
26-3:5 For3588 thou859 art not3808 sent7971 to413 a people5971 of a strange6012 speech8193 and of a hard3515 language,3956 but to413 the house1004 of Israel;3478
26-3:6 Not3808 to413 many7227 people5971 of a strange6012 speech8193 and of a hard3515 language,3956 whose834 words1697 thou canst not3808 understand.8085 Surely,518, 3808 had I sent7971 thee to413 them, they1992 would have hearkened8085 unto413 thee.
26-3:7 But the house1004 of Israel3478 will14 not3808 hearken8085 unto413 thee; for3588 they will14 not369 hearken8085 unto413 me: for3588 all3605 the house1004 of Israel3478 are impudent2389, 4696 and hardhearted.7186, 3820
26-3:8 Behold,2009 I have made5414 (853) thy face6440 strong2389 against5980 their faces,6440 and(853) thy forehead4696 strong2389 against5980 their foreheads.4696
26-3:9 As an adamant8068 harder2389 than flint4480, 6864 have I made5414 thy forehead:4696 fear3372 them not,3808 neither3808 be dismayed2865 at their looks,4480, 6440 though3588 they1992 be a rebellious4805 house.1004
26-3:10 Moreover he said559 unto413 me, Son1121 of man,120 (853) all3605 my words1697 that834 I shall speak1696 unto413 thee receive3947 in thine heart,3824 and hear8085 with thine ears.241
26-3:11 And go,1980 get935 thee to413 them of the captivity,1473 unto413 the children1121 of thy people,5971 and speak1696 unto413 them, and tell559, 413 them, Thus3541 saith559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 whether518 they will hear,8085 or whether518 they will forbear.2308
26-3:12 Then the spirit7307 took me up,5375 and I heard8085 behind310 me a voice6963 of a great1419 rushing,7494 saying, Blessed1288 be the glory3519 of the LORD3068 from his place.4480, 4725

26-3:14 So the spirit7307 lifted me up,5375 and took me away,3947 and I went1980 in bitterness,4751 in the heat2534 of my spirit;7307 but the hand3027 of the LORD3068 was strong2389 upon5921 me.
26-3:15 Then I came935 to413 them of the captivity1473 at Tel-abib,8512 that dwelt3427 by413 the river5104 of Chebar,3529 and I sat3427 where8033 they1992 sat,3427 and remained3427 there8033 astonished8074 among8432 them seven7651 days.3117
26-3:16 And it came to pass1961 at the end4480, 7097 of seven7651 days,3117 that the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 unto413 me, saying,559
26-3:17 Son1121 of man,120 I have made5414 thee a watchman6822 unto the house1004 of Israel:3478 therefore hear8085 the word1697 at my mouth,4480, 6310 and give them warning2094, (853) from4480 me.
26-3:18 When I say559 unto the wicked,7563 Thou shalt surely die;4191, 4191 and thou givest him not warning,2094, 3808 nor3808 speakest1696 to warn2094 the wicked7563 from his wicked7563 way,4480, 1870 to save his life;2421 the same1931 wicked7563 man shall die4191 in his iniquity;5771 but his blood1818 will I require1245 at thine hand.4480, 3027
26-3:19 Yet if3588 thou859 warn2094 the wicked,7563 and he turn7725 not3808 from his wickedness,4480, 7562 nor from his wicked7563 way,4480, 1870 he1931 shall die4191 in his iniquity;5771 but thou859 hast delivered5337 (853) thy soul.5315
26-3:20 Again, When a righteous6662 man doth turn7725 from his righteousness,4480, 6664 and commit6213 iniquity,5766 and I lay5414 a stumblingblock4383 before6440 him, he1931 shall die:4191 because3588 thou hast not3808 given him warning,2094 he shall die4191 in his sin,2403 and his righteousness6666 which834 he hath done6213 shall not3808 be remembered;2142 but his blood1818 will I require1245 at thine hand.4480, 3027
26-3:21 Nevertheless if3588 thou859 warn2094 the righteous6662 man, that the righteous6662 sin2398 not,1115 and he1931 doth not3808 sin,2398 he shall surely live,2421, 2421 because3588 he is warned;2094 also thou859 hast delivered5337 (853) thy soul.5315
26-3:22 And the hand3027 of the LORD3068 was1961 there8033 upon5921 me; and he said559 unto413 me, Arise,6965 go forth3318 into413 the plain,1237 and I will there8033 talk1696 with854 thee.
26-3:23 Then I arose,6965 and went forth3318 into413 the plain:1237 and, behold,2009 the glory3519 of the LORD3068 stood5975 there,8033 as the glory3519 which834 I saw7200 by5921 the river5104 of Chebar:3529 and I fell5307 on5921 my face.6440
