06-1:2 Moses4872 my servant5650 is dead;4191 now6258 therefore arise,6965 go over5674 (853) this2088 Jordan,3383 thou,859 and all3605 this2088 people,5971 unto413 the land776 which834 I595 do give5414 to them, even to the children1121 of Israel.3478
06-1:3 Every3605 place4725 that834 the sole3709 of your foot7272 shall tread1869 upon, that have I given5414 unto you, as834 I said1696 unto413 Moses.4872
06-1:4 From the wilderness4480, 4057 and this2088 Lebanon3844 even unto5704 the great1419 river,5104 the river5104 Euphrates,6578 all3605 the land776 of the Hittites,2850 and unto5704 the great1419 sea3220 toward the going down3996 of the sun,8121 shall be1961 your coast.1366

06-1:6 Be strong2388 and of a good courage:553 for3588 unto (853) this2088 people5971 shalt thou859 divide for an inheritance5157 (853) the land,776 which834 I swore7650 unto their fathers1 to give5414 them.

06-1:14 Your wives,802 your little ones,2945 and your cattle,4735 shall remain3427 in the land776 which834 Moses4872 gave5414 you on this side5676 Jordan;3383 but ye859 shall pass5674 before6440 your brethren251 armed,2571 all3605 the mighty men1368 of valor,2428 and help5826 them;

06-1:17 According as we hearkened8085 unto413 Moses4872 in all3605 things,834 so3651 will we hearken8085 unto413 thee: only7535 the LORD3068 thy God430 be1961 with5973 thee, as834 he was1961 with5973 Moses.4872
06-1:18 Whosoever3605, 376, 834 he be that doth rebel against4784 (853) thy commandment,6310 and will not3808 hearken unto8085 (853) thy words1697 in all3605 that834 thou commandest6680 him, he shall be put to death:4191 only7535 be strong2388 and of a good courage.553

06-2:2 And it was told559 the king4428 of Jericho,3405 saying,559 Behold,2009 there came935 men376 in hither2008 tonight3915 of the children4480, 1121 of Israel3478 to search out2658 (853) the country.776
06-2:3 And the king4428 of Jericho3405 sent7971 unto413 Rahab,7343 saying,559 Bring forth3318 the men376 that are come935 to413 thee, which834 are entered935 into thine house:1004 for3588 they be come935 to search out2658 (853) all3605 the country.776
06-2:4 And the woman802 took3947 (853) the two8147 men,376 and hid6845 them, and said559 thus,3651 There came935 men376 unto413 me, but I knew3045 not3808 whence4480, 370 they1992 were:

06-2:9 And she said559 unto413 the men,376 I know3045 that3588 the LORD3068 hath given5414 you (853) the land,776 and that3588 your terror367 is fallen5307 upon5921 us, and that3588 all3605 the inhabitants3427 of the land776 faint4127 because of4480, 6440 you.

06-2:12 Now6258 therefore, I pray4994 you, swear7650 unto me by the LORD,3068 since3588 I have showed you kindness,6213, 5973, 2617 that ye859 will also1571 show6213 kindness2617 unto5973 my father's1 house,1004 and give5414 me a true571 token:226
06-2:13 And that ye will save alive2421 (853) my father,1 and my mother,517 and my brethren,251 and my sisters,269 and all3605 that834 they have, and deliver5337 (853) our lives5315 from death.4480, 4194
06-2:14 And the men376 answered559 her, Our life5315 for8478 yours, if518 ye utter5046 not3808 (853) this2088 our business.1697 And it shall be,1961 when the LORD3068 hath given5414 us (853) the land,776 that we will deal6213 kindly2617 and truly571 with5973 thee.
06-2:15 Then she let them down3381 by a cord2256 through1157 the window:2474 for3588 her house1004 was upon the town2346 wall,7023 and she1931 dwelt3427 upon the wall.2346
06-2:16 And she said559 unto them, Get1980 you to the mountain,2022 lest6435 the pursuers7291 meet6293 you; and hide yourselves2247 there8033 three7969 days,3117 until5704 the pursuers7291 be returned:7725 and afterward310 may ye go1980 your way.1870
06-2:17 And the men376 said559 unto413 her, We587 will be blameless5355 of this thine oath4480, 7621, 2088 which834 thou hast made us swear.7650
06-2:18 Behold,2009 when we587 come935 into the land,776 thou shalt bind7194 (853) this2088 line8615 of scarlet8144 thread2339 in the window2474 which834 thou didst let us down3381 by: and thou shalt bring622 thy father,1 and thy mother,517 and thy brethren,251 and all3605 thy father's1 household,1004 home1004 unto413 thee.
06-2:19 And it shall be,1961 that whosoever3605, 834 shall go out3318 of the doors4480, 1817 of thy house1004 into the street,2351 his blood1818 shall be upon his head,7218 and we587 will be guiltless:5355 and whosoever3605, 834 shall be1961 with854 thee in the house,1004 his blood1818 shall be on our head,7218 if518 any hand3027 be1961 upon him.
06-2:20 And if518 thou utter5046 (853) this2088 our business,1697 then we will be1961 quit5355 of thine oath4480, 7621 which834 thou hast made us to swear.7650
06-2:21 And she said,559 According unto your words,1697 so3651 be it.1931 And she sent them away,7971 and they departed:1980 and she bound7194 (853) the scarlet8144 line8615 in the window.2474
06-2:22 And they went,1980 and came935 unto the mountain,2022 and abode3427 there8033 three7969 days,3117 until5704 the pursuers7291 were returned:7725 and the pursuers7291 sought1245 them throughout all3605 the way,1870 but found4672 them not.3808
06-2:23 So the two8147 men376 returned,7725 and descended3381 from the mountain,4480, 2022 and passed over,5674 and came935 to413 Joshua3091 the son1121 of Nun,5126 and told5608 him (853) all3605 things that befell4672 them:
06-2:24 And they said559 unto413 Joshua,3091 Truly3588 the LORD3068 hath delivered5414 into our hands3027 (853) all3605 the land;776 for even1571 all3605 the inhabitants3427 of the country776 do faint4127 because of4480, 6440 us.

06-3:3 And they commanded6680 (853) the people,5971 saying,559 When ye see7200 (853) the ark727 of the covenant1285 of the LORD3068 your God,430 and the priests3548 the Levites3881 bearing5375 it, then ye859 shall remove5265 from your place,4480, 4725 and go1980 after310 it.

06-3:5 And Joshua3091 said559 unto413 the people,5971 Sanctify yourselves:6942 for3588 tomorrow4279 the LORD3068 will do6213 wonders6381 among7130 you.
06-3:6 And Joshua3091 spoke559 unto413 the priests,3548 saying,559 Take up5375 (853) the ark727 of the covenant,1285 and pass over5674 before6440 the people.5971 And they took up5375 (853) the ark727 of the covenant,1285 and went1980 before6440 the people.5971
06-3:7 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Joshua,3091 This2088 day3117 will I begin2490 to magnify1431 thee in the sight5869 of all3605 Israel,3478 that834 they may know3045 that,3588 as834 I was1961 with5973 Moses,4872 so I will be1961 with5973 thee.
06-3:8 And thou859 shalt command6680 (853) the priests3548 that bear5375 the ark727 of the covenant,1285 saying,559 When ye are come935 to5704 the brink7097 of the water4325 of Jordan,3383 ye shall stand still5975 in Jordan.3383
06-3:9 And Joshua3091 said559 unto413 the children1121 of Israel,3478 Come5066 hither,2008 and hear8085 (853) the words1697 of the LORD3068 your God.430
06-3:10 And Joshua3091 said,559 Hereby2063 ye shall know3045 that3588 the living2416 God410 is among7130 you, and that he will without fail drive out3423, 3423 from before4480, 6440 you (853) the Canaanites,3669 and the Hittites,2850 and the Hivites,2340 and the Perizzites,6522 and the Girgashites,1622 and the Amorites,567 and the Jebusites.2983
